Abstract. This study aims to know the effect of the different anesthesia doses of holy basil leaf (Ocimum tenuiflorum) oil on the survival rate of the catfish (Pangasius sp.) seed in transportation activity. The experiment used a complete randomized design with 4 treatments, namely 0 mg L-1 , 25 mg L-1 , 50 mg L -1 , and 75 mg L-1 and 3 replications. It was conducted in the Laboratory of Aquaculture, Fisheries Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Palangka Raya University, Central Kalimantan. Results showed a non-significant effect of the different doses of the holy basil leaf oil on the survival rate of the catfish during transportation and acclimatization, 100% and 98-100%, respectively.
